HIIT & Run – A Whole New Way to Race!

Looking for something fresh, fun, and seriously energising? Say hello to HIIT & Run – the brand new hybrid race from McA Fitness & Events that combines short-distance running with bodyweight exercises for a challenge that’s as fun as it is fierce!
Whether you’re a weekend warrior, a fitness newbie, or just up for something a bit different, HIIT & Run is made for all ages, all abilities, and all fitness levels. No fancy kit needed – you can train in your back garden, local park, or even your living room!
What to Expect:
Taking place on the impressive athletics track at UCLan Sports Arena, you’ll alternate between sprints and high-energy bodyweight exercises on the track itself – that’s right, no muddy trails or heavy lifting, just pure hybrid fitness fun.
You’ll choose between two awesome distances:
Standard Distance (Ages 15+)
• 400m run
• 80m walking lunges
• 400m run
• 80m broad jumps
• 400m run
• 80m bear crawl
• 400m run to finish strong!
Super Sprint Distance (Ages 8+) – Perfect for Families!
• 100m run
• 20m walking lunges
• 100m run
• 20m broad jumps
• 100m run
• 20m bear crawl
• 100m final push to the finish!
Whether you’re going solo or bringing the whole crew, HIIT & Run is all about moving your body, having fun, and pushing your limits in a supportive and inclusive environment.
